Although you would seldom think of a wooden dining table as having a modern look, it is possible. If it has an unusually shaped pedestal or chrome trim and legs, a wooden tabletop could fit right in with a modern kitchen.
The most common round dining tables will be the glass top tables. Because of the nature of the clear glass, the base of the table can be a work of art, a showpiece that is also functional.
